Overview
Eg Nabn Vev was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1306, by Helê Rebckezqug. The establishment of Eg Nabn Vev was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Helê Rebckezqug electing to pay people to resettle in Eg Nabn Vev.
Eg Nabn Vev was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Nabn Vev is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Eg Nabn Vev is buildings have been located at convienant points along the gorge Eg Nabn Vev was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the premissive packed earth streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Eg Nabn Vev's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
Right off the bat Eg Nabn Vev hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The town is very clearly a joyfull place as well as wealthy. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.
